Who Should Attend?

New and experienced decision writers, reviewers, and counsel with administrative and regulatory agencies, boards and tribunals.  This is an introductory course, but will be useful for anyone who has not done a full-day structured program on decision writing, or who wants a refresher.  

Faculty

Pamela Chapman, arbitrator and educator, will facilitate the program. A group of expert facilitators from the administrative justice community will lead group discussions and writing exercises, and guest panelists will discuss developments in adjudication. Past faculty and coaches have included Justice Susan Lang, David Wright, Chair, Law Society Tribunal; Sherry Liang, Assistant Commissioner, Tribunal Services, Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario; Taivi Lobu - Vice Chair, Health Services Appeal and Review Board, and other experts in the field of adjudication.
