Join Professor Barbara Morris (Ph. D., English, U of Toronto) for this lively workshop. "Writing Crisply" is an interactive workshop combining instructive presentations with practical, hands-on exercises that focus on how to produce clear, crisp writing at the level of paragraph, sentence, and word.  The course is designed for tribunal and regulatory staff who write as part of their work, including emails and written communication to superiors, colleagues, and members of the public.  Counsel may also attend.  This course will be lively and lots of fun.           

 Speaker:  Professor Barbara Morris, Humber College        

Professor Morris has taught at Canadian Institute for the Administration of Justice’s Decision Writing Seminar for Judges, Written Advocacy for Osgoode Hall, The School for Public Prosecutors’, SOAR/OPD's Advanced Decision Writing and The Parole Board of Canada’s ATRA conference.  In addition she has conducted courses and given lectures for the Advocates’ Society, for the Ontario Masters, and for various legal firms and government organizations in Toronto.        

This course contains 2.5 CPD Professionalism Hours.
