This online interactive session follows our popular 'We Need to Talk: Fundamentals of Investigative Interviews' workshops.

So now that you've completed your investigative interviews, it's time to present your findings. But how is best?

This workshop, lead by two experts in the field,  will discuss the fundamentals of good investigative report writing, including:

  • Planning and organizing your reports using effective frameworks
  • Keeping your reports on purpose, focused, and relevant
  • Writing clearly and adopting the right tone
  • Effective ways to address witness credibility and reliability of evidence in your reports

The session is recommended for those beginning their investigative report writing journey and will also be an excellent refresher for more seasoned investigative report writers.

We aim to provide a lively, informative and interactive session.

SPEAKERS:

Laura Pettigrew - Former General Counsel at Ontario's Ombudsman Office,  Co-Author "How to Investigate Fundamentals of Effective Fact-Finding"

Antonio Udaneta - Lawyer, Investigator, Workplace Legal
