Administrative Law Primer 2025

Registration is closed for this event

Ontario's administrative agencies and regulators must act fairly in accordance with administrative law principles. But what does that mean?

This interactive workshop, led by administrative law professionals, will provide a "plain language" overview of the key administrative law concepts. Using case scenarios, this workshop will explore important principles such as the reasonable apprehension of bias, the duty to give reasons, jurisdiction and fairness and the right to be heard.

The workshop, offered bi-annualy, is designed for staff looking for an introduction to key administrative law concepts or those who may need a refresher. It would also interest managers and legal staff looking for tips on how to communicate administrative law concepts more effectively to non-legal staff.
