Hearings Officer for the City of Vaughan
Brief Description of Opportunity/Project:
The City of Vaughan is soliciting proposals from qualified Hearings Officers to hear appeals pursuant to the Statutory Powers and Procedures Act, including appeals relating to:
1.1 administrative penalties issued under the Municipal Act;
1.2 licensing hearings, pursuant to the City’s Licensing By-law;
1.3 fence height exemptions, pursuant to the City’s Fence By-law; and
1.4 muzzle orders issued under the Dog Owner’s Liability Act.
This RFP will be for a total of one (1) Hearings Officer position.
