National Manager

The Advocates' Society seeks a National Manager to work with the National Standing Committee and carry out the vision of the national strategic plan.
The National Manager will be responsible for meeting financial, membership
and retention goals and will play a key role in the marketing and promotion of the national programs, events and in the cultivating of strong relationships
with key stakeholders.

Required:

•  Member of a provincial or territorial Law Society
•  Extensive travel across Canada
•  Litigation experience
•  Able to work both independently and with others
•  Strong interpersonal and networking skills
•  Able to develop and manage a budget
•  Analytical and decision-making skills
•  Excellent attention to detail
•  Proven customer relations skills
•  Able to establish and cultivate relationships with local stakeholders
•  Excellent written and oral communication skills
•  Advanced computer literacy
•  Strategic planning experience
•  Business development experience

Preferred: 

•  Bilingual in English and French
•  Project management and leadership experience
•  Experience in curriculum design and educational course development
•  Legal marketing experience including conducting market research
•  Certificate in adult education and/or online education is an asset
•  Volunteer management and/or experience with professional associations
•  Familiarity with social media platforms
•  Secondary Degree in Business, Marketing or Communications is an asset
