As Ontario’s real estate regulator, RECO administers the legislation that governs real estate trading in the province. This means that real estate professionals must be registered with RECO in order to trade in real estate, and it is also our role to enforce the rules, regulations and Code of Ethics that they must follow. We do this work on behalf of the government of Ontario’s Ministry of Government and Consumer Services, protecting the public interest through a fair, safe and informed marketplace.

The successful candidate must possess the ability to manage the activities of the Discipline and Appeals Committees, ensuring the highest level of administrative services and support to the Discipline and Appeals Committees, and in the development of the hearing process. This position, which reports to the Vice President, Corporate Services, must be able to research and compile complex legal materials related to a variety of initiatives/issues, as well as professionally represent the Discipline and Appeals Committees to internal and external stakeholders.
