On April 5, 2023, the Government announced significant funding to recruit an additional 40 new full time adjudicators for the Landlord and Tenant Board. Adjudicators at Tribunals Ontario hold hearings, make rulings, review and analyze evidence and make decisions under applicable legislation, policies and rules. They may be assigned to carry out dispute resolution, assessments, investigations and decision making alone or, as part of a panel/quorum and may work as part of a team. Adjudicators are neutral and cannot provide legal advice.
